Episodes of anaphylaxis are often unpredictable, so all people who have been assessed by their doctor to be at high risk of anaphylaxis should have an Anaphylaxis Action Plan if they are prescribed an Adrenaline Auto-Injector (EpiPen®)

Action plans (for completion by the doctor) can be downloaded from the ASCIA website - www.allergy.org.au. As symptoms can vary between different people it is important that an individual’s Anaphylaxis Action Plan is followed (including ‘special instructions’ from their doctor).
